Community & Youth Development Initiatives (CYDI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation (NGO). We work to improve the health and socio-economic welfare of young people and their guardians in Imo State, South-eastern Nigeria. Since 2001, CYDI has been working with other stakeholders to serve its clients where they live, work, and learn. At each location, we conduct activities tailored to the needs of that group. We do not reinvent the wheel, but work with existing groups and their structures to integrate home-grown and international development solutions. We also operate Oby Resource Centre, which provides services to complement our community outreach and programme support services.
