In 1992 a group of professionals concerned about the safety and healthy conditions of the Nigerian environment and the sustainable development of Nigeria came together to establish Anpez Centre for Environment and Development then referred to as Anpez Environmental Law Centre. In 1999the Centre was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission under Part C of the Company and Allied Matters Decree as an Incorporated Trustee with registration number 11,892.
Anpez is an independent non-profit sharing organization of professionals specialized in and dedicated to the sustainable development of the Nigerian Environment, and the improvement of its Economic, Political and Social Status.
